Rosen Plevneliev: Our hopes are that Bulgaria will be able to form a stable government which will solve the people’s problems and will continue conducting reforms
During their meeting in Brussels President Rosen Plevneliev and European Commission President Jose Barroso debated the agenda of the next European Council on the meeting related to stimulating growth and increasing the employment rate and particularly the measures for fighting youth unemployment.
Regarding the situation in Bulgaria, our country received the European Commission’s full support for “the worthy manner of transition based on the Constitution on the way to an early general election, which is to be held on 12 May,” the head of state informed after the meeting. Among them are the reforms in the energy sector and the anti-trust legislation, the President told journalists in Brussels.
