A very successful campaign for application submission for the “John Atanasoff” awards came to a close on 22 August 2016. We would like to express our gratitude to each of the 57 candidates, who submitted their applications. They are distributed in the 4 separate categories, as it follows:

•    11 applications for the „John Atanasoff“ Award

•    10 applications for the “John Atanasoff - students and their teachers” category

•    22 applications for the “John Atanasoff - first steps in computer sciences” category

•    14 applications for the “John Atanasoff – for projects with social value-added” category

The Committee evaluating the applications will review each nomination in accordance to the rules of the contest, in a session scheduled for mid-September.

The laureates in each category of the 2016 “John Atanasoff” Awards will be announced at the official ceremony traditionally held on 4 October 2016 at the Business Incubator building at Sofia Tech Park.
