The Internal Audit Unit
The Internal Audit Unit was established in 2006, following the entry into force of the Internal Audit in the Public Sector Act and is directly subordinate to the Chief Secretary of the President. The Internal Audit Unit carries out internal audit of all structures, programmes, activities and processes in the Administration of the President, in accordance with Art. 13 of the Internal Audit in the Public Sector Act, plans, performs and reports on internal audit activity in accordance with the requirements of the Internal Audit in the Public Sector Act regulations on internal audit standards.
