President Radev: My Well-wishers Made Deliberate Efforts to Quickly Present their Version of Contact with Covid-19
I would like to thank my well-wishers in Bulgaria, who, deeply concerned about my health, about the health of my counterparts-presidents, about my international activities, were quick to present their version of contact with covid-19. This is an example of making deliberate efforts to present the situation in a particular way and contrary to speculations neither I, nor any member of my delegation, neither the attending journalists were placed in quarantine in Estonia. This is what President Rumen Radev said upon his arrival back in Sofia after visiting Tallinn.
The Head of State explained that since the beginning of the covid-19 crisis he has strictly observed all health measures and no problem has arisen so far. “Within less than a week I have made two tests – last Tuesday I made a test because of my visit to Greece and yesterday as well, so that my hosts in Estonia would not be concerned. Both tests are negative,” Rumen Radev said. “I am in a perfect physical shape, I have no symptoms of a disease, and I wish my well-wishers the same,” the President told journalists after landing in Sofia.
