Bulgaria is ready to support the transportation and accommodation of its compatriots who wish to abandon Ukraine
Bulgaria is ready to provide timely support for the transport and accommodation of our compatriots who wish to abandon Ukraine, regardless of whether they have Bulgarian citizenship or not. This is what President Rumen Radev told Anton Kisse, a deputy of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada and president of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine. Vice President Iliana Iotova also took part in the telephone conversation.
Anton Kisse informed the Head of State and the Vice President about the situation in Ukraine and in the regions where the members of the Bulgarian community reside. At this stage, said he, there is no danger for our compatriots and conditions are being created to support the evacuation of people who wish to leave the country.
