Radev Discusses Security of Europe, Strengthening Rule of Law in Bulgaria and Fight against Corruption with Diplomats
Ensuring Europe's security in the face of military conflicts next door, strengthening the rule of law in Bulgaria and fighting corruption and organised crime were discussed today by Head of State Rumen Radev at a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of the EU member states, the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
During the meeting, a number of topics on the European Union's agenda were also put to debate, including enhancing the competitiveness of European economies, beefing up the common defence policy, the EU enlargement process to be based on the merits of the candidate countries, curbing illegal migration to Europe, demographic challenges, and others.
