Head of State: Bulgaria Highly Appreciates Jordan's Contribution to De-escalating the Military Conflict in the Middle East and Strengthening Stability in the Region
Bulgaria highly appreciates Jordan's contribution to de-escalating the military conflict in the Middle East and strengthening stability in the region. This was stated by Head of State Rumen Radev at a meeting in Riyadh with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Jordan, His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah. The two spoke during the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative forum, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Bulgarian head of state expressed our country's empathy for Jordan's consistent policy of assisting refugees from Palestine, which is of great importance for limiting migration flows to Europe and requires timely support from the European Union and the international community.
During the meeting, Radev also expressed his high appreciation for the high-level meeting held in Sofia in April 2025, "Aqaba for the Balkans," hosted by the Bulgarian president and King Abdullah II of Jordan, dedicated to security challenges in our region, the fight against illegal migration, radicalisation and terrorism.
