President Rumen Radev Held a Session with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States
Head of State Rumen Radev met today with the ambassadors of the European Union member states at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark. The meeting was held at the initiative of Denmark's ambassador to Bulgaria Flemming Stender within the framework of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU. Vice President Iliana Iotova and the Head of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, Yordanka Chobanova, also took part in the conversation.
Among the highlights of the meeting were the challenges facing the European Union arising from the military operations in Ukraine and the Middle East, approaches to achieving lasting peace, the negative impact of military conflicts on the security, stability, social and economic systems of Europe, and the achievement of strategic autonomy for the EU. Current social processes in Bulgaria were also debated.
